The Consortium for Sexuality Studies (CSS) Framework

The CSS hosts three streams of research combined with service delivery activity:

  • SEX WORK

Sex work leads: Dr Tracey Sagar and Debbie Jones

The sex work stream expands on the sex work research already carried out by members of the CSS and seeks to develop new and innovative research and service delivery collaborations in the United Kingdom as well as in Europe.

  • SEXUALITY AND THE LIFE COURSE

Sexuality and the life course leads: Dr Paul Willis and Mr Mark Jones

The sexuality and the life course stream engages with individuals and communities across the generations and in particular it strives to: raise awareness about sexuality rights; challenge stigma; make positive changes to the lives of people through innovative research, community learning and creative service delivery.

  • SEXUAL EXPLOITATION

Sexual exploitation leads: Dr Tracey Sagar and Debbie Jones

The sexual exploitation stream focuses on a range of harms suffered by adults and children. It addresses a variety of contemporary critical challenges in relation to the sexual exploitation of children, young people and adults.
